Introducing App Uninstall Tracking for Improved Mobile Engagement and Measurement

Marketers can now gain deeper visibility into app churn and improve re-engagement strategies with new app uninstall tracking capabilities in the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP). By capturing uninstall events directly within mobile workflows (using a new event type called app_uninstalled), teams can better understand audience drop-off, suppress users who no longer have the app installed, and make smarter targeting decisions across campaigns.

With uninstall insights integrated into reporting and activation, marketers can:

  • Reduce wasted spend by avoiding messaging to users who have removed the app

  • Improve audience accuracy for retargeting and lifecycle campaigns

  • Identify churn trends faster to optimize engagement and retention strategies

  • Create more relevant customer experiences based on real app usage behavior

Strengthen Integration Security with Granular REST API Key Management

New REST API Key management capabilities give teams greater control over how integrations are secured and maintained. Marketers and technical teams can now create, scope, rotate, and manage REST API Keys directly in the Zeta Marketing Platform, helping ensure the right access is granted for each use case while reducing operational friction.
What’s new:

  • Dedicated API Key Management permission: A new role‑based permission allows approved users to create, edit, deactivate, and delete REST API Keys, ensuring access is owned and governed by the right people.

  • Scoped API Keys: Limit each key to only the APIs required for a specific integration or workflow, minimizing unnecessary access and risk.

  • Simplified key lifecycle management: Rotate and manage keys independently, reducing delays and reliance on Zeta technical support. Additionally, permissioned users can generate keys with specific scopes for partners and vendors, making it easy to support external integrations while granting only the minimum access required.

Together, these enhancements give teams more direct control over API security, enabling safer integrations, faster partner onboarding, and greater confidence as marketing operations scale.

Insights Studio in the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) is getting a major upgrade with new analytics and visualization enhancements designed to help marketers explore performance more deeply, uncover insights faster, and make smarter decisions without relying on external business intelligence (BI) tools.

These enhancements bring more powerful, BI-grade reporting directly into the ZMP — making it easier to analyze complex data, surface trends, and turn insights into action across campaigns, audiences, channels, regions, products, and more.

What’s new in Insights Studio:

  • Multidimensional charting enables marketers to analyze up to three dimensions within a single visualization, making it easier to compare performance across segments, identify trends, and simplify complex reporting views.

  • Pivot tables provide flexible, drag-and-drop analysis directly inside Insights Studio, helping teams dynamically reorganize metrics and dimensions without exporting data into spreadsheets or third-party tools.

  • Conditional formatting highlights trends, outliers, and performance shifts automatically with customizable color scales and threshold-based rules across tables, charts, and maps—helping teams spot what matters most at a glance.

  • A new Visualization Summary Agent powered by Athena automatically summarizes charts and dashboards, helping marketers quickly understand key performance insights, identify opportunities, and act faster without manually interpreting complex analytics. BETA

  • Additional reporting and usability enhancements—including centralized filters, flexible time views, improved chart readability, richer interactivity, and presentation-ready exports—make it easier to explore, share, and act on insights across teams.

Together, these updates help marketers move from static reporting to more dynamic, actionable analytics experiences inside the ZMP. The result: faster optimization decisions, clearer performance visibility, reduced operational friction, and more time spent driving outcomes instead of managing data.
