AI continues to redefine how people interact with technology, seamlessly integrating into nearly every aspect of modern life. From personal assistants to business tools, AI-driven chat systems have become essential for streamlining communication and automating everyday tasks.

Recent advancements in generative AI have accelerated this transformation, leading to a new generation of assistants that do more than respond; they reason, adapt, and learn. ZMP’s Athena represents this next stage of evolution: an intelligent conversational system designed to think critically, automate complex workflows, and deliver insights with human-like understanding.

As AI continues to evolve, Athena demonstrates how intelligent automation can extend human capability rather than replace it; bridging the gap between data, decisions, and action.

Athena is currently available exclusively in the U.S., but this is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we expand Athena’s reach to more regions soon!

  • Use the action menu (three dots) in the Athena chat window to close the chat, switch to full screen, or view your chat history.

Agent Studio

Agent Studio enables the creation, configuration, and management of generative AI Agents within the Athena ecosystem. These agents evolve from simple assistance capabilities to highly specialized, collaborative, and domain-specific roles. Each agent in Agent Studio functions as an SME in its designated area, capable of guiding users through related tasks, workflows, and queries with precision.

Navigate to AI Studio > Agent Studio from the menu on the left.

The Agent Studio is grouped into three primary categories:

  • AI Agent Solutions

  • AI-Powered Prediction Workflows, and

  • Smart AI Models,

each serving a distinct purpose within Athena’s intelligent automation framework.


Agents

AI Agent Solutions are configurable, domain-specific assistants built to perform focused tasks across automation, analysis, and intelligent assistance. Each agent acts as an SME, offering contextual insights and real-time guidance to streamline workflows, analyze data, and improve operational efficiency.

Click View All to see all available AI Agents, or select the My Agents tab to view the ones you’ve created.

Using Agents

To try an existing agent, click Try It Now beside the desired agent card, or select it directly from the My Agents list.

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can also use the Copy & Edit option to modify the agent’s configuration.

The action menu also provides additional options, including Reset Thread to start a new conversation and View Thread History to review previous interactions.

Creating Agents

Click on the Create button on the top-right and select Agent from the dropdown.

Complete the configuration form by entering the required details for your new agent.

Field Name

Description / Purpose

Agent Name

The unique name identifying your agent. Use a descriptive title that reflects the agent’s purpose (e.g., “Subject Line Generator,” “Campaign Optimizer”).

Business Goals (Optional)

Define the primary objectives or outcomes the agent should focus on, such as improving engagement, automating tasks, or generating insights.

Instructions

The main system prompt for the agent. Describe its role, behavior, and how it should respond to users. This defines how the AI interprets inputs and produces outputs.

Description

A short summary explaining what the agent does. This appears in agent listings and helps users understand its purpose at a glance.

Conversation Starters (Optional)

Predefined sample prompts to help users start interactions with the agent effectively. Used to demonstrate capabilities or guide usage.

Best Practices (Optional)

Guidance or recommendations for users on how to phrase prompts for optimal results. Helps improve response quality and consistency.

How to Use

Instructions or examples that show how users can interact with the agent. Can include scenarios, input examples, or step-by-step workflows.

Reference Documents

Upload supporting materials (e.g., PDFs, briefs, guides) that the agent can reference for contextual knowledge.

Read Permissions

Defines who can access and use the agent: Self, Selected Account, or All Accounts. Controls visibility.

Edit Permissions

Defines who can modify or manage the agent’s configuration: Self, Selected Users, or Anyone.

Capabilities

Select specific AI features or integrations the agent can use, e.g., Image Generation, Campaign Information, Insights, Web Search, Forecasting, etc.

Actions

Create or define new custom actions the agent can perform, such as “Generate Report,” “Summarize Feedback,” or “Analyze Campaign Data.”

Once the agent is saved and published, you can test and interact with it directly in the preview panel.

Workflows

AI-Powered Prediction Workflows are intelligent, automated pipelines designed to analyze data, generate insights, and forecast outcomes across a variety of business functions. Each workflow combines predictive modeling with process automation to deliver data-driven recommendations and measurable performance improvements. Use these workflows to optimize decision-making, streamline operations, and enhance the accuracy and speed of predictive tasks.

Click View All to see all available AI Agents, or select the Custom Workflows tab to view the ones you’ve created.

Using Workflows

To try an existing agent, click Try It Now beside the desired workflow card, or select it directly from the Custom Workflows list.

  • Upload an image to begin generating results or running the workflow.

  • Use the blank canvas area to build and organize your workflow.

  • Use the toolbar on the left to add new elements, connect nodes, or configure workflow components.

    • You can also upload files, define agent tasks, and link processes to design a complete automation flow.

Models

Smart AI Models are advanced, data-driven engines built to interpret patterns, predict outcomes, and optimize decision-making across complex business scenarios. Each model leverages machine learning and analytical techniques to deliver actionable insights, automate predictions, and enhance performance accuracy. Use these models to refine targeting, improve forecasting, and drive measurable impact through intelligent data utilization.
