Experience Builder | Testing State + Listings Page UI Refresh

Test, Validate, and Launch Experiences with Greater Confidence

Building and managing customer journeys in Experience Builder just got easier. With the introduction of Testing Mode and a refreshed Experiences Listings Page, marketers can validate experiences before launch, accelerate QA cycles, and manage journeys more efficiently within a modern, streamlined interface.

What’s new?

Test before you activate
Run experiences in a dedicated Testing Mode for up to 24 hours before launch. Whether you're validating a complex journey, confirming audience qualification, or testing campaign sends and personalization with a small group of users, you can verify that experiences behave as expected without impacting production reporting.

Speed up QA and optimization
Compressed timers let you simulate days-long journeys in minutes, making it easy to test splits, delays, triggers, and channel routing before customers enter the experience. Instead of waiting days to validate outcomes, marketers can identify issues and iterate quickly.

Manage experiences more efficiently
The refreshed Listings Page introduces updated search, filtering, and navigation aligned to current ZMP design standards. Collapsible version groups make it easier to compare experience versions side-by-side, while a streamlined templates section helps teams stay organized as programs scale.

By giving marketers greater control over testing and a more intuitive way to manage experiences, these enhancements help reduce launch risk, shorten validation cycles, and improve confidence in every customer journey.

These enhancements will be rolled out to accounts between June 25 and July 1.

Audience Explorer | Recurring Date Types in External Database Explorer

Activate Recurring Date-Based Campaigns with Greater Accuracy

The ZMP’s External Database Explorer now supports recurring date fields, making it easier to build and validate audiences for campaigns tied to customer milestones and recurring events.

Administrators can now define date fields as standard dates, annually recurring dates, or monthly recurring dates, ensuring dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, subscription renewals, and membership milestones are evaluated correctly when creating audiences and activating campaigns.

What this means for you:

  • Improve targeting accuracy for recurring campaigns and lifecycle programs.

  • Reduce manual work and troubleshooting with clearer date field configuration.

  • Build audiences with confidence knowing recurring date logic is applied consistently across segmentation and campaign workflows.

Whether you're launching a birthday campaign, sending renewal reminders, or engaging customers around recurring milestones, this enhancement helps ensure the right audience is reached at the right time.
