ZMP Release Notes [26.03.19]

Simplify Campaign Setup with Global Variables and Snippet References

Global Variables and Snippet References make it easier to manage reusable data and understand how your content is used across campaigns. Instead of defining variables repeatedly across subject lines, templates, or snippets, you can now configure them once in a dedicated Global Variables field and reuse them throughout the campaign. In addition, Content Snippets now include a References tab that shows every template, campaign, and snippet where a snippet’s ZML merge tag is used, making it easier to audit usage and maintain consistency.

What this means for marketers:

  • Define variables once and reuse them across subject lines, templates, and snippets

  • Easily audit where snippet merge tags are used across campaigns

  • Reduce errors caused by redundant assignments and manual ZML coding

  • Simplify campaign setup with a centralized field for global variables

  • Use codeless configuration for Coupons, Events, Snippets, and Feeds

Whether you're managing dynamic recommendations, feeds, or reusable content, Global Variables and Snippet References help teams keep campaigns cleaner, more transparent, and easier to maintain at scale.
