Enhanced Security for File Downloads with Encrypted URLs We’re strengthening security for file imports and exports with encrypted download URLs, replacing direct Amazon S3 storage links with secure, platform-managed file access. This enhancement encrypts both authenticated and unauthenticated download URLs, keeping underlying S3 storage paths hidden and removing any non-authenticated access to the files via the UI or email. Account-level access checks help protect against unauthorized downloads, while existing account-level authentication settings remain supported. Key benefits include: Import and Export files in the UI, and emailed export files will now be encrypted and require authentication Stronger file security: Encrypted download URLs help protect sensitive files and reduce exposure of storage information. Improved access controls: Account-level checks help prevent users from accessing files belonging to unrelated accounts. Minimal configuration changes: Existing authentication settings remain supported, allowing teams to adopt stronger security without changing their established access preferences. This update strengthens protection for imported and exported files while preserving existing account-level authentication configurations.
