ZMP Release Notes [26.10.15]

Channel Activation | Push: Skip Unauthorised Device Tokens for Push Delivery

Improve Push Audience Accuracy and Targeting with Notification Permission Checks

Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) now gives marketers a clearer view of their reachable push audience and more control over targeting based on notification permissions.

Previously, user-level push eligibility could include contacts who had denied notification permissions, inflating audience estimates and leading to avoidable delivery failures. ZMP now checks permissions at the contact level and excludes contacts with denied permissions before sending. Marketers can also use notification permission filters to build more precise audience segments, helping improve delivery rates by targeting contacts with permissions enabled.

What’s new:

  • Understand your reachable audience before sending: Get more accurate push audience estimates by automatically excluding contacts with notification_permissions = not_authorized.

  • Refine targeting to improve delivery rates: Use the notification_permissions filter under Contact Properties to segment contacts by authorized or not_authorized status and target those with permissions enabled.

  • Know which contacts are excluded from delivery beforehand: View contacts with denied permissions in the Push Permission Denied category within the audience breakdown.

  • Reduce avoidable delivery failures: Exclude contacts with denied permissions before sending, reducing unnecessary delivery attempts.

  • Use the latest available permission status: The SDK retrieves notification permissions from the device operating system on every app launch and sends the status to ZMP.

Onboarding Manager | [App] Snippet Migration - Bulk (Phase 3)

Simplify Large-Scale Template Conversions with Bulk Snippet Migration

Migrating large volumes of legacy email templates into the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) is now easier with new bulk snippet migration capabilities. Building on the existing script conversion functionality, this enhancement enables implementation teams to upload and convert multiple XSLT and AMPscript files simultaneously, manage conversion drafts in one place, and create snippets in bulk. This streamlined workflow reduces manual effort and simplifies large-scale content migrations.

What's new:

  • Migrate multiple templates at once: Upload and convert legacy XSLT and AMPscript files in bulk, eliminating the need to process each template individually.

  • Track migration progress more easily: Monitor conversion statuses, including Processing and Ready for Review, to identify drafts requiring attention and keep migrations on track.

  • Streamline snippet creation and management: Create snippets from multiple conversion drafts in a single action and archive drafts that are no longer needed, reducing repetitive tasks.

These enhancements will roll out between October 15 and October 22, helping teams manage large-scale snippet migrations more efficiently and accelerate customer onboarding.
