LiveIntent Platform Upgrades to Improve Performance

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving performance, usability, and long-term scalability, LiveIntent is making some exciting upgrades to our platform.

What brought on these changes?

The LiveIntent platform has continued to grow in recent years and with that growth has come backend issues that have impacted service and reliability. After an internal audit of our platform, this upgrade will give us the ability to deliver more features to benefit our clients. These improvements include:

  • Upgraded infrastructure for faster and more reliable platform performance

    • Including improved data sync and a more robust API

  • Enhanced tech stack to better deliver future features

  • Minor UI updates to improve overall usability

How will this impact my current campaigns?

Most platform users will not be impacted by this platform upgrade and will be able to continue their work business as usual.

Impacted Users:

  • Users who utilize the LiveIntent Ads API  will need to take action to update their API calls. Those users will need to follow this documentation in order to continue to be able to have their system call the platform API directly.

  • Account Managers for these users will reach out directly with the next steps, but if you have any questions or concerns about your API usage, please do not hesitate to reach out.

When are these changes going into effect?

The upgraded platform will go live by mid January 2026. Users should experience no disruption in service once the changes are live.

Will the platform look any different?

In this initial rollout, you will notice a few minor updates to the platform UI.

  • Geo Targeting: Improved consistency in how you can select and apply targeting for DMA, Region, and Zip Code.

  • Daytime parting: Users will now be able to pick specific days they want your campaign to run.

These upgrades are part of a larger platform improvement project that our teams are working on. As part of a future release, we are currently researching ways to enhance the overall platform UI to streamline the user experience.
