October 2025 Release Notes
The LiveIntent Product & Engineering team has been hard at work on new platform tools to give you more control over the demand that serves in your email inventory.
We’re excited to showcase new features and tools that help protect brand safety and the reader experience, provide insight into demand opportunities, and maintain your overall email newsletter strategy. All these capabilities are now available to all users in the LiveIntent Platform:
Blocking Suite
Our new and improved blocking suite allows you to keep brand safety top of mind while growing revenue to scale your email newsletter program. This includes:
Demand Controls gives you a single place to manage which demand is eligible to appear across your entire media group. It helps you maintain brand safety, align with audience expectations, and maximize revenue by making it easy to see and adjust settings at the publisher, newsletter, or ad slot level—all from one centralized view. Learn more about Demand Controls here.
Exchange Visibility:
Ad Discovery gives you visibility into the newest advertisers entering the LiveIntent Exchange—evaluate audience alignment, creative quality, and demand potential before ads appear in your newsletters. Learn more about Ad Discovery here.
Ad Recall gives you real-time oversight of newsletter ad placements so you can ensure every ad reflects the standards of your brand. No guesswork. No waiting. Just better control. Learn more about Ad Recall here.
High-Impact Display Sizes & Desktop Fallback
When enabling display sizes for your ad slot(s), this now includes our high-impact display sizes (600x600, 600x750, 1080x1080, and 1080x1350). We first introduced these sizes in 2024, and clients who have enabled these larger sizes have seen 3x-4x higher CPMs and 3x higher CTR, compared to regular display sizes.
Along with these new sizes, you have the option to choose a fallback ad size (970x250) to serve in the desktop environment.
The new sizes and ‘Desktop Fallback’ column are in the “Select Sizes Allowed by Ad Slot” section on the Edit Ad Slot page. Please refer to our Knowledge Base article “Creating/Editing a Display & Native Ad Slot” for instructions on how to utilize this feature.
