Being able to identify key macro-economic and vertical trends to market with confidence will further help you understand where and when you should be spending.
From the Opportunities page, navigate to the MarketPulse tab under Market insights.
Economic Activity Score
The Economic Activity Score is the combined waited value of key trends indicating the overall health of the US economy. The key trends that make up the economic activity score are the macro trends and leading indicators.
The Notifications section reveals the trends of other brands and categories and allows you to filter the Content Consumption and Visitation Trends by vertical.
Click on the arrow icon to the right of the Notifications section to view trends for additional topics.
Within the screen that appears, click on the drop-down and select the desired topic from the options available.
The Content Consumption subtab displays the brands/categories that saw the highest increase (Trending Up) and the highest decrease (Trending Down) in online content consumption, along with their week-over-week percentage changes.
Visitation data is based on the in-real-life locations that users have visited. The Visitation subtab displays the brands/categories that saw the highest increase (Trending Up) and the highest decrease (Trending Down) in visitation, along with their week-over-week percentage changes.
Macro Trends & Leading Indicators
Click on the arrow icon against the New Movers Index to display the details of its online content consumption, visitation trends, and engagement metrics. Hover over the graphs to reveal the trends or metrics by date.
You can further click on the dropdown to choose the vertical you want to see the particular trends or metrics for.
The Vertical Indices section shows the normalized weekly count of individuals interested in each industry vertical in the US.
Just like you did to reveal the New Movers Index, click on the arrows against each vertical index to display the details of its online content consumption, visitation trends, engagement metrics, and website analytics.
