Overview

Part one of onboarding a client is ingesting the client’s first party data to make it available within ZMP. Once the client’s account is set up in ZMP, the client’s CRM data can be onboarded directly into ZMP via the Segments and Lists section or the User section. This article covers the various ways to onboard data into ZMP.

Option I - Uploading CRM Data via Segments & List

Steps

Click Create New

  • Below Audiences on the left nav, click Segments & Lists, and then click the Create New (Customer) button.

Click Add List

  • Click the List option and then Next button.

Drag and Drop File

  • Drop your CSV file into the drop area.

Info: The User ID and email fields must be included in this file and are a requirement.

Option II - Uploading CRM Data via People

Steps

Click the New People

  • Below Audiences on the left nav, click People, and then click the New People button.

Import CSV File

  • Click the Import from CSV file option.

Drag and Drop File

  • Drop your CSV file into the drop area.

Additional Options Info: All ZMP accounts have an FTP. ZMP supports uploading data through FTP and API can be set up as well.
