Audience Explorer - Advanced Location Targeting Requirements
Overview
This article will review the requirements for applying advanced location targeting to your campaigns within Audience Explorer
Instructions for Using the Map
Within Audience Explorer click on “Explorer “
Once in the Audience Explorer Screen click Explore Locations which is in the bottom left corner of the page
User will see the following Screen
Within this screen users can do the following:
Select Locations on the Map - Example Below:
Select Zip Codes - Click on the State to add in a list of specific Zipcodes
Select Cities - By using your mouse click on the cities to add to the targeting
Select Counties - Click on the State to add in a list of Counties to target
Select DMA - Click on the State to add in a list of DMA’s to target
Select Pins - Click anywhere on the Map to Select a “pin” -User can adjust the radius by the toggle or enter in a numerical amount
Once all of the targeting is set - Click “DONE”
NOTE - Based on the Targeting that the user applies you will see a Numerical Bubble that indicates how many places have been targeting within that level - Example: State - 3, City - 3 etc.
Instructions for Using the Bulk Option
On the bottom left-hand side of the screen, you will see the option to “Drag and Drop a . CSV file anywhere within the panel
Users can upload a number of different geographic markers (zip, DMA, county etc)
Once the File passes validation you will be able to see how many “Match Locations” were added based on the locations listed within the CSV file

Files should be CSV files with one or more columns that specify the location |
CSV Column requirements differ depending on the location type - (Note that there are no restrictions on filename, other than the extension. The following other requirements will be in place for CSVs:
