Browser Targeting

Browser targeting enables the inclusion or exclusion of particular web and mobile browsers (i.e., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).

1. Within the Targeting tab of the Campaign Builder, the Targeting grid appears. Click on the sign against each row or object to add in its targeting rules.

2. Select Browser.

3. Within the Browser Targeting page, enable targeting of browsers by selecting Include. To exclude browsers, click on Exclude.

4. Click on Save & Close when complete.

Browser Information

Name	Description
Android Web App	Any browser app that runs on Android, the operating system for mobile devices.
AOL Browser	AOL Browser is a graphical web browser available to clients of the AOL Internet service. Other names for it include AOL Explorer, AOL OpenRide and AOL Desktop.
Blackberry	The default browser on the Blackberry mobile device.
Chrome	Google Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google. It runs on Windows, OS X, Linux, Android and iOS.
Dolfin	Dolphin is a proprietary freeware browser that operates on Android and iOS. It can run Adobe Flash on Android.
Firefox	Mozilla Firefox is a free and open-source web browser available for Windows, OS X and Linux desktops with mobile versions available for Android and Firefox OS.
Ibrowser	IBrowser is a defunct web browser developed for the Amiga family of computers by Commodore.
Internet Explorer	Internet Explorer by Microsoft is a browser for laptops and other computers. Microsoft packages it with Windows By default, but it can also appear on OS X (Mac), Solaris and HP-UX.
Internet Explorer Mobile	Internet Explorer Mobile is a browser for mobile devices that comes loaded on Windows Phone and Windows CE by default. Formerly called Pocket Internet Explorer.
Kindle Browser	This browser operates on the Kindle series of e-readers by Amazon.
Motorola MIB	The Motorola Internet Browser is a multimode micro browser that supports WAP, iMODE and xHTML for Motorola devices.
MQQ Browser	The MQQ Browser is a freeware web browser for the Android, Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms, developed by the Chinese company Tencent.
Netfront	NetFront Browser is a mobile Web browser for embedded devices, developed by Access Co. Ltd. of Japan.
Nokia Browser	Freeware available on Nokia mobile devices
Obigo	Obigo Browser is a microbrowser for mobile phones, smartphones and other Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) developed by the Obigo company. It supports mobile platforms such as Windows Mobile, S60 and BREW.
Onebrowser	One Browser is a freeware browser developed for Android, iOS, Blackberry and Amazon devices.
Opera	Opera is a freeware web browser developed by Opera Software for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. Opera siblings – Opera Mobile, Opera Mini and Opera Coast – work on devices running Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Symbian, Maemo, Bada, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile operating systems, while Opera Mini runs on Java ME-capable devices.
Phantom	PhantomJS is an open-source, scripted browser without graphical user interface used to automate web page interaction. It enables automated navigation, screenshots, user behavior and assertion testing. It is licensed for the BSD environment.
Polaris	Polaris^TM Browser is a WEB/WAP mobile browser for feature phones, smartphones and other Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) developed by the Infraware Inc. It operates on mobile platforms such as Android, Windows Mobile and BREW, including RTOS.
Safari	Safari is Apple's default web browser for iOS devices, both desktop and mobile. A Windows version, now discontinued, was available from 2007 to 2012.
SEMC Browser	The SEMC Browser was the default browser developed by the former partnership of Sony and Ericsson for their jointly-created mobile phones.
Silk	Amazon Silk is a web browser developed by Amazon for Kindle Fire and Fire Phone.
UC Browser	UC Browser is a mobile browser developed by the Chinese company, UCWeb. It is available on platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Symbian, Java ME, and BlackBerry. With a huge user base in China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and continued growth in emerging regional markets, In March 201 UC Browser reached 100 million global users.
UP Browser	Unwired Planet. Browser is an earlier name for Openwave's micro browser. Version 3.x used HDML, and Version 4.0 and up was WAP compliant.
WAP Browser	A web browser for mobile devices that uses the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) protocol.
WEBOS Browser	The default browser for WebOS, the Linux-based operating system for smart devices like TVs and smartwatches initially developed by Palm, and later sold to Hewlett-Packard and subsequently to LG Electronics and then Qualcomm. It has appeared on devices including Pre, Pixi, and Veer smartphones, TouchPad tablet, LG Smart TVs and smartwatches.
UNKNOWN	Stands for web browsers that do not identify themselves in the bid request.
Openwave	Is a Mobile browser that enables smartphones to interact with the web.
