Day and Time Targeting

Overview

Day & Time targeting enables the exclusion of Ad display to particular days of the week, as well as times of day.

Getting Started

  1. Select Day & Time from the Pre-Bid Targeting pop-up in the DSP.

2. Select the days of the week you want your ad to run.

3.  Specify a time zone to use. Click Ad Server time zone (Eastern) if the time and day specifications are to apply to the US Eastern time zone. Click Person viewing the ad if the times are to be relative to the time zone of the viewer.

4. Click Save & Close when complete

Setting Time Intervals

You can also limit the time of day that your ads appear. The time range intervals you enter into this section refine the time periods where your ads can air.

  1. Navigate to the Time Intervals section and use the two fields to select a Start time and End time.

  2. Optional: Click + Interval to add another time interval.

3. Specify a time zone to use:

  • Click Ad Server time zone (Eastern) if the time and day specifications are to apply to the US Eastern time zone.

  • Click Person viewing the ad if the times are to be relative to the time zone of the viewer of the Ad.
