Definition

Effect on Ad Delivery

Pending Internal Review on Google ADX and/or Xandr (Appnexus)

The Ad is still pending a review from Zeta's in-house ad auditing team.

Ads with this status under both ADX and Xandr (Appnexus) will not deliver. Contact your Account Manager for updates on your Ad status.

Pending on ADX and/or Xandr (Appnexus) (Delivery is SHOWN in Report Builder)

The Ad has passed internal Zeta review and is waiting to complete the audit on ADX and/or Xandr (Appnexus).

The Ad will deliver to all other exchanges not seen on the Ad Cards Audit tab.

Pending on both ADX and Xandr (Appnexus) (Delivery is NOT SHOWN in Report Builder)

A change was made to the Ad after it was originally uploaded and it needs to be reviewed internally again before it can deliver.

The ad will not deliver on any exchange while waiting on internal review.  Contact your Account Manager for updates on your Ad status.

Audited on ADX and/or Xandr (Appnexus)

The Ad has passed audits both internally and for the exchange.

The Ad will deliver on all exchanges with the "Approved" status and on all exchanges not seen on the Ad Cards Audit tab.

Rejected on ADX and/or Xandr (Appnexus)

  • The Ad was rejected by the given exchange, the reason for which will appear within the DSP if provided by the exchange.

  • If no rejection reason is listed, reach out to your Account Manager or Zeta Support for assistance in resolving the rejection.

The Ad will deliver to all other exchanges not seen on the Ad Cards Audit tab.

Expired on Xandr (Appnexus)

Xandr (Appnexus) considers an Ad to be "expired" if it has not run and has not been modified in 15 days.

  • If the Ad was reviewed by Google ADX at any point, it will deliver to ADX and to all other exchanges not seen on the Ad Cards Audit tab.

  • If the Ad was NOT reviewed to ADX due to one of the auto ignore rules, the Ad will not deliver on any exchange until the Ad has been revalidated.

  • If you need an expired Ad to be revalidated, you can either:

    • Duplicate the Ad in the DSP to create a new Ad for the audit process

    • Reach out to your Account Manager or Zeta Support asking that the Ad be revalidated with Xandr (Appnexus).

Exchanges That Serve Your Ads

The Zeta DSP is integrated with at least 35 Ad Exchanges, giving you a wide-range of inventory and opportunities to deliver your Ads. A full list can be found on the Inventory Targeting page. Of these 35 exchanges, we display audit information from: Google ADX, Xandr (Appnexus), and Yahoo Ad Exchange.

Google ADX

  • "Google ADX SSL" represents the secure (https) inventory provided by Google ADX.

Xandr (Appnexus)

  • Auditing is performed for two separate sets of inventories: Xandr (Appnexus) and Xandr (Appnexus) MS:

    • "Xandr (Appnexus)" represents the inventory that is provided by Xandr (Appnexus).

    • "Xandr (Appnexus) MS" represents the small amount of inventory provided by Microsoft, which Xandr (Appnexus) does the auditing for.

If the audit status is "rejected" for any of these exchanges, it does not mean the creative will not deliver at all. The creative does not have access to the given exchange's inventory as per the policy information in Zeta's Ad Auditing Process. If you want to see what exchanges your ads are delivering on at any given time, use the "publisher" dimension on the Report Builder.

WARNING

If the Ad has no audit information on the Audit tab, it will not deliver on any exchange. This is an indication that the Ad has not yet passed our vendor checks outlined in Zeta's Ad Auditing Process. For newly created Ads, please allow up to 24 hours for Audit tab to be blank while the Ad is undergoing our Ad audit process.
