[Beta] Audience Forecast Report

An Audience Forecast Report is used for creating an impression forecast for selected audiences across publishers.
This allows users to accurately assess available inventory when using audience targeting for direct sold and house campaigns, and enables them to scale their inventory volume and increase revenue.
Getting Started

To create an Audience Forecast Report, navigate to the Reporting tab in the LiveIntent platform and select Create New Report.

Creating the Report
On the Create Report page, click Audience Forecast Report.
There are three sections: Basic Details, What do you want in the report?, and Scheduling.

Basic Details
Enter the basic details for your Audience Forecast report -
Report Name: Name the report
Publishers: Add all the Publishers under your Media Group or select a few by clicking on Select Publishers.
Filter by Inventory: This filter allows you to run a forecast using data from specific Templates or Sections.
By Template: Choose this option to select desired newsletter templates for the report.
By Section: Choose this option to select desired ad slot sections for the report.
What do you want in the report?
When customizing the report, Query range, splits, and filters can vary depending on preferences.
Query Range: This defines the time period for which you want to run the forecast. Available options include -
Next Day
Next 7 Days
Next 30 Days
Custom Range
Example: to forecast impressions for an audience(s) to send over the next 30 days, select the Next 30 Days option.
Splits: These determine how the data in your report will be broken down. You can select only one split per report for Forecasting. Splits include -
Country
Zip
DMA
Device Type
Section ID

Filters: To forecast on a specific Audience, choose Audiences from the filters and select your preferred Audiences.
You can also include other optional filters in this report. Available filters are:
Packages
Device Type
Country
DMA
Zip Code
Scheduling your report

To schedule your report, scroll to the Scheduling section at the bottom of the page.
Click Add a Schedule and confirm your -
Delivery Frequency (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly)
Start and End Times for the delivery duration
Delivery Time (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening)
Scheduling workflow
There are three methods of delivery for all reports: For Email, For SFTP, and For S3.
For Email
To schedule a report, it must have at least one recipient. That one recipient does not have to be the user creating the report.
Tip: Have team members who should also receive a report? Add them by clicking Add More Recipients.
For SFTP
Delivering reports via an SFTP server can only be set up by your LiveIntent account team.
In order to use this option, please provide your LiveIntent Account Managers with the following fields:
Address
User
Password

For S3
Delivering reports via a S3 bucket can only be set up by your LiveIntent account team.
In order to use this option, please provide your LiveIntent Account Managers with the following fields:
S3 Bucket Name
S3 Key Name
Access Key
Secret Key
Please reach out to your LiveIntent Account Manager to get started.
Once you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Report.
Receiving Your Report
Your scheduled reports will be sent via the method you choose (Email, SFTP, or S3).
If you chose to send reports via email, you will receive a separate email for each report that you generate. The report will be sent with a hyperlink that allows you to download the report as a .zip file.
Downloading a Report
You can also download a report in two ways:
Click Download Report before saving on the Create Report page.

Or, access it anytime from the Reports Dashboard by clicking the Download button

Note
Forecasting impressions and generating the report typically takes 8 to 15 seconds. During this time, the Download button will remain disabled until the report is ready and downloads to your desktop.
The downloaded file will be empty if no impressions are forecasted based on the filters you’ve selected.
